Commercial & Industrial Solar Cooling & Heating

Glenbarra Energy is currently working with leading international manufacturers of renewable products to introduce Turnkey Solar Cooling and Heating solutions to the North American Market in both residential and commercial applications.  The systems will produce clean energy and generate solar cooling and / or heating day and night throughout the year.

Glenbarra Energy has taken a careful and conservative approach in choosing superior renewable products that are durable and adaptable across multiple structure types yet facilitate a simplified approach to construction efficiency.  The chosen system in each application will deliver solar powered space cooling and heating for residential and commercial applications providing consistent cooling / heating for any building.  Our extensive engineering and contracting expertise in the renewable industry, coupled with these leading edge products will allow us to offer Glenbarra Energy customers a combination of renewable solutions that can be integrated at any stage into any heating system, providing them with an optimal central space heating and cooling system and water heating energy system.

Using cutting edge technology, the selected solar cooling and heating system is designed to transport harnessed heat from solar collectors to a heat energy exchange unit to produce a chilled water source which is then used to cool the building.  The benefit of the system is that it has the versatile option to switch the output manually from the exchange unit to allow the building to be heated.

One of the solar cooling/heating systems Glenbarra will be introducing is compact, silent and can be adapted to projects of all sizes.  Because the system itself is designed with fewer components than most solar powered cooling systems and requires a very small amount of electricity to operate the control systems and pumps, our Customers will benefit from reduced capital expenditure and operating costs.

Benefits of Solar-Cooling/Heating:

  • Up to 90% saving of the operating energy costs associated with traditional air conditioning systems
  • Optional connection to a radiant floor system reduces airborne allergens contributing to a healthier internal environment
  • Can be operated with a conventional furnace/air handler or fan coil system
  • Fewer components make for a simpler and faster solar installation
  • Reduced CO2 emissions
  • Lower designed energy load for building compared to traditional air conditioning
  • Lower demand for space heating energy
  • Low maintenance costs
